Peas rice is my home recipe, My mom teach me how to cook peas rice.
Simple ingredient you find at kitchen.
I am using basmati rice, basmati rice smell and texture are very long, and soft ( Tip ) 40 min rice wash and soak in water for good result.
Chopped 1 large onion, some whole spices for aromatic flavour.
1/2 Cup Ghee or better, Ginger garlic paste.
One cups fresh green peas.
In a large pot add Ghee, or butter onion and whole spices saute until lightly golden.
Add peas and Measure 3 cups hot water.
Once water is boiled add soak rice, mix well, cook high flame for 7 min.
Until rice absorbed water, then flame are low, cover up and simmer
After 10 min Peas Rice Recipe | Peas Pulao is ready smell aromatic
flavour soft, rice ready serve with salad, shami kabab.
Peas Rice Recipe | Peas Pulao
- 4 Cups Basmati Rice wash and soak 40 min
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 tsp Black Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp White Cumin seeds
- 1 Stick Cinamon
- 10 Whole Black Pepper cone
- 3 Black cardamom pods
- 5 Green cardamom pods
- 4 Whole Cloves
- 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 Cups Green Peas
- Salt To Taste
- 1/2 Cups Ghee or Butter
- First 4 cups Basmati Rice wash and soak rice 40 min.In a large pot add ghee or butter add onion slice all whole spice saute 7 min.until onion is a golden color.Add 5 Cups hot water, salt to taste. When water is boiling add soak rice mix well, and high flame 7 min.Rice Absorb all water, then simmer 10 min.After 10 min of soft rice aromatic flavor rice ready.
Serve with salad or raita.
